Silver State Charter Schools Needs The Public's Help
Silver State Charter Schools needs the help of the public at their next Governing Body Meeting this Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Mark Twain Room at Silver State, 788 Fairview Drive, Carson City.
Objective and Outcome: This school is in need of the public’s assistance to bring this Board into lawful compliance. A status this Board has not enjoyed since May of 2013.
How the Public can help: We need public volunteers to attend this coming Tuesday’s meeting which will be held at the Silver State Charter School in the “Mark Twain” room.
All volunteers will be given a copy of an introductory letter and explanation of what occurred at the Sept. 16 meeting, the Sept. 16 agenda, a copy of this coming Oct. 14th agenda, paper and pen.
Please, document all that you hear and see as it unfolds. At the conclusion of business you will hand your statements to Kimberly Pilant (she will wear a name tag), before you leave. These statements will be read for any violations made by the Governing Body during this meeting regarding NRS 386.549, by-laws and/or open meeting laws and will be turned in to the proper authorities, if applicable.
