Special Sessions at the Bee & Garden Conference
Join us for two Special Sessions with clinical herbalist and Sierra Roots Wellness founder, Mary McCallum:
Saturday, March 23: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. “Medicinal products from the hive”
Sunday, March 24: 8:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. “Shrubs, syrups, and oxymels”
Mary loves sharing her knowledge of herbal medicine with others through medicine making, classes and working with clients one-on-one for wellness consultations. Mary's work in the community focuses on collaborating with local non-profit organizations, supporting the BIPOC community and those facing challenges to receive education and access to herbal and alternative medicines.
Many of you may know Mary through her business, Sierra Roots Wellness. Mary is excited to launch her re-brand this Spring Equinox and her new business will echo many of the same values as Sierra Roots Wellness.
When she’s not teaching classes to the community, you can find Mary tending to her bee hives, her many ducks, chickens, and livestock guardian dogs on Washoe land in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
We are excited for Mary to join us at our Bee & Garden Conference next week, March 22-24 at the Carson Valley Inn, in Minden, Nevada. Make sure to get your tickets soon as space is limited. All supplies are included. Cost of each session is $25.00. Scholarships are also available.
