Guitarist Buddy Emmer on The Brother Dan Show
On Monday, January 31, The Brother Dan Show welcomes guitarist Buddy Emmer. Originally from Texas, Buddy currently hosts Tuesday night blues at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, featuring weekly guest artists from across the country.
Buddy’s extensive lists of performance credits includes opening for a multitude of well-known artists including Joe Bonamassa, Elvin Bishop, John Lee Hooker II, Lydia Pence and Cold Blood, and many others. In addition, he has shared the stage with the like of Greg Allman, Jimmie Vaughn, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, just to name a few.
Host Brother Dan Palmer will spend time learning about Buddy’s current schedule and upcoming projects, and gain insights through colorful stories of Buddy’s years of making music across the US. In addition, the two will play lots of music, showcasing Buddy on both guitar and harmonica as these two accomplished Northern Nevada artists relax and make music together.
On top of all of that, the live audience can enjoy a rotating menu of complimentary pizza and salad, courtesy of local Carson City restaurant Mangia Tutto.
Local music lovers (21 years of age and over) are invited to join the live audience at the Bank Saloon in Carson City, where the show runs from 4:30pm-6:30pm. The Bank Saloon, at 418 S. Carson St. in Carson City, is housed in a building built in 1899 and features artwork from noted Nevada artists. It’s a great place to unwind, and the Brother Dan Show is a great way to kick off your week in a fun and friendly environment.
