Carson City area road report for the week of January 16-22
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Jan. 16-22, 2017. Lane closures with traffic controls are at the following locations due to utility and road work:
— Carson Street and Winnie Lane intersection will have traffic controls due to signal improvements, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Carson Street between William and Fifth Streets will have possible lane restrictions, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— Intersection of Roop and Robinson Streets will have lane restrictions for signal improvements, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
-Lompa Lane between Menlo Drive and U.S. 50 will have lane restrictions, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Special Event
State of the State Address on Tuesday the 17th between 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. will close East Fifth Street between Carson and Stewart Streets, please follow detours.
Meanwhile, State Route 207 Kingsbury Grade remains closed indefinitely due to a sinkhole. As weather will play a factor, no time frame is set to complete road repairs. The road was open briefly, but last week's storm forced it again to close.
