Irving Berlin's 'White Christmas' stage performance

The new stage adaption of the beloved Irving Berlin movie "White Christmas" arrives just in time for the holidays. This sparkling new stage adaptation is being produced by the Western Nevada Musical Theater Company. There will be nine performances, November 13, 19 and 20 at 7:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. matinees on Nov. 7, 14, 20 and 21.
Peformances will be at the Bob Boldrick Theater at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. Williams St. Tickets $20, $18, $16.Call (775) 886-6023 for tickets.

Starting in mid-August, day-use reservations will be required on weekends and holidays at Lake Tahoe’s popular Sand Harbor State Park.

UPDATE 4:50PM: The fire at the landfill has been extinguished, according to Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Jon Pedrini.
