On Feb. 8 at 6:30pm, the Douglas County Historical Society presents a 55-minute Chautauqua presentation of Lake Tahoe’s wealthy and eccentric George and Elia Whittell. Local authors and historians David and Gayle Woodruff re-enact the characters of one of the wealthiest couples on the West Coast during the 1920s through 1950s.

As you know, the mic is always open here at Polecat Tavern unless otherwise occupied. BUT on Thursday evenings, we have a structured OPEN Mic beginning at 7pm. The stage is set up, just plug in and show us your stuff.

Known for its rich history and one-of-a-kind events, Virginia City will kick off 2024 with the 11th annual Devil Made Me Do It Saloon Crawl Saturday, Feb. 10 in the heart of downtown. The KRD, a Dayton based classic rock duo take the indoor patio at Bella Vita Bistro at the Carson Mall in Carson City, this Friday night Jan. 26 starting at 5:30 p.m. The KRD perform songs from the 60's to today. They have been performing for over 30 years together and call their music classic rock hits.
