With the chilly temperatures on Saturday, there was one demographic who was far warmer than the others: Nevada Day Beard Contest participants!
Armed with wooly face shields, these men braved the cold to have their facial hair judged publicly in McFadden Plaza for the chance to take home the metaphorical gold.
September gaming revenue up slightly statewide and in Carson City, down at Lake Tahoe

Carson City area gaming generated revenue fell relatively flat for the month of September compared to September 2022, according to figures released Tuesday from the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Member businesses in the Downtown Business Association are hosting their 6th annual Candy Crawl on Tuesday, Oct. 31st.
