UNR cancer researcher to speak at Monday's Democratic luncheon

NNDA Executive Director to speak at Democratic luncheon

The speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Jeff Sutich, Executive Director of the Northern Nevada Development Authority. NNDA is the state-designated Regional Development Authority for Nevada's Sierra Region: Carson City as well as Storey, Lyon, Douglas, and Mineral counties.

Established in 1981, the Northern Nevada Development Authority is a nonprofit corporation that helps to grow and strengthen the region’s economic ecosystem, and facilitates business-to-business resources to support existing businesses.

Prior to her appointment in 2013, she was a senior manager at Carson City's Sierra Surgery Hospital. She holds both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Public Health from the University of Nevada-Reno.
