He was named board president in 2020, and in 2024 became board clerk. He has served on several committees, and as a Director on the Nevada Association of School Boards.

Miles Construction Company has generously donated the use of a Flatbed Truck and with financial support from The Change Companies, the Nauman Foundation, and Carson Tahoe Hospital, the BAC will place musicians and bands on the flatbed and drive them through the streets and neighborhoods of Carson City throughout June and July.

Drone study aims to improve Carson City school zone bicycle, pedestrian safety
