Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. English is my second language, so I hope I can share my thoughts okay with you.
I am a mother of five who immigrated to this country 33 years ago because of the opportunity of a better life. The American Dream. My life here with my family has been a dream, and I want my kids to know all the opportunities America offers. The most important opportunity I want them to have is the Nevada Opportunity Scholarship, and the chance for the best education possible.

Another record year: UNR enrollment nears 21,000 students
Submitted by editor on Wed, 09/09/2015 - 9:04amThe University of Nevada, Reno welcomed 20,898 undergraduate and graduate students to campus for the fall 2015 semester, representing a 4.8 percent increase over the fall 2014 enrollment of 19,934 students.
Undergraduate student enrollment increased 5.9 percent this year, from 16,330 in fall 2014 to 17,295 in 2015. Graduate student enrollment increased 1 percent, from last year’s 2,820 students to 2,851 in 2015.
