Carson City School District suspends all extra-curricular activities, large group gatherings until further notice

The Carson City School District issued statements in English and Spanish Friday afternoon alerting the community to the suspension of all after-school activities, assemblies, concerts, practices, and general large-group gathering in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The statements are as follows:

A 28-year-old woman who was arrested Tuesday for a felony warrant, was found to be in possession of counterfeit currency, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.

A 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday for suspicion of felony evading, eluding arrest and other alleged offenses after a low-speed vehicle pursuit, a sheriff's arrest report states.
