Besides needing funds available for small businesses during the COVID-19 crisis, small-business owners need additional support and guidance, as well as opportunities to talk with other small-business owners.

COVID-19 has caused increased social distancing and self-isolation, and many Nevadans struggle to cope with the stress and anxiety of the pandemic. These feelings of fear are taking a toll on people’s mental and physical health and well-being.

Happening now through April 25 is National Library Week, a time to highlight the valuable role libraries, librarians and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening communities. The Carson City School District will transition all secondary students to a Pass/Fail grading system for the second semester of the 2019-2020 school year. During this pandemic, I would love to think I am in fact a builder because I strive to see the best in this, because I have been helping those struggling immensely during these hard times, and because I am doing my best to help the medical professionals I know.
