Amodei Statement on Nevada Receiving More Than $240 Million in Provider Relief Fund Initial Allocation

The Provider Relief Fund, established under the CARES Act, provides a total of $100 billion in relief funds to hospitals and other healthcare providers on the front lines of the coronavirus response. Error in Carson City COVID-19 test performance leaves local resident in limbo

However, the situation became all that more complicated when the test was administered incorrectly by Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS).
CCHHS admitted to the error, and has rescheduled a second test to be performed today.

Regent Sam Lieberman, longtime champion of higher education, has died

No other information was immediately available.
“We were devastated to learn of Sam’s death,” NSHE Chancellor Thom Reilly said in a statement. “He was so passionate about Nevada’s public higher education system and he cared very deeply about bettering our system for our students.”
Lieberman took office as a Board of Regents member, representing District 5 in Clark County, in 2015. Last month, he had filed for re-election.
