The Reno Swing Set plays Thursday, July 27 at 6:30 p.m., as Cafe at Adele’s hosts another evening of music as the Veranda Series continues.

Everyone get ready for the Ninth Annual Concert Under the Stars, a benefit for The Greenhouse Project, with headliner The Family Stone and featuring Lydia Pense and Cold Blood on Wednesday, July 12 at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 W. King Street in downtown Carson City.

Reno-Tahoe International Airport will see its first passenger lounge on the concourse to offer food, beverage and wifi amenities later this year, airport officials said Monday.

Planes, trains, and automobiles take over Carson City this weekend. Steampunk ‘N’ Trains at the Nevada Railroad Museum features train rides, fun costumes, food trucks and more. The all-new Union Carson eatery, taphouse and coffee bar is scheduled to open Thursday, June 8 at 11 a.m., the establishment posted on its Facebook page Wednesday afternoon.

Tickets are available for a Aug. 18, 2017 VIP Celebrity Dinner the night before the Aug. 19 Carl Howell Memorial Music Festival in Carson City.

The special VIP evening dinner at Empire Ranch Golf Course, is for people to meet and mingle with the celebrities, athletes and musicians who will be in Carson City to honor fallen Carson City Sheriff’s Deputy Carl Howell, said organizer Don Alexander, who formed the nonprofit The Last Respond Fund, to raise money for the Howell family.

Rollin' Pizza Pies took to the streets of Carson City at the end of April, said co-owner Desiree Kagan, and is fast becoming a local icon.

Nevada Humane Society’s Bone Appetit program is combining great local restaurants with a great cause — offering dining out as a way to give back to homeless pets. On Thursday, May 25, Café at Adele’s is raising money and awareness for Nevada Humane Society and you can dine with them to participate.

Chef David Stern is literally counting the hours until his new restaurant opens its doors in downtown Carson City.

A new restaurant is opening in downtown Carson City, according to reports from the Reno Gazette-Journal and Nevada Appeal.

The Union — a partnership of Reno-based investors — is scheduled to open this summer at 302 North Carson Street, site of the old Lake Tahoe Brewing Company, which closed in January 2016 ahead of its owner Michael Candelario's arrest on fraud charges.

It’s a St. Patty’s celebration in Virginia City this weekend with the parade, Rocky Mountain Oyster Fest, and Ball Buster Saloon Crawl. Bragging rights are on the line at the Sixth Annual Thirsty Boy Homebrew Competition sponsored by Just Brew It.
