Project Pink: Carson Tahoe hospital hosts May 12 breast health event

A woman’s risk of breast cancer doubles if she has a close relative (mother, sister, or daughter) who has been diagnosed with the disease.

The surveyors awarded seven extra commendations for exceeding industry standards, making CTCC the first cancer center in Nevada to achieve a “gold level” designation.
