November Wine Walk, bike tour, craft fair and more highlight weekend events around Carson City

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of events around the Carson City region. The November Gobble Wine Walk kicks off in downtown Carson City followed by a new “Paths and Pedals” bike tour. Sierra Lutheran High School is also hosting a Christmas craft fair on Saturday. Combined with live music and virtual events, there’s plenty of activity happening in the state capital! Heading into the weekend before Thanksgiving, there’s a mountain of activities around the Carson City region over the next three days. Events include the 25th annual Carson High School Holiday Craft Fair, a “War of the Worlds” play at the Brewery Arts Center, a Chili Bingo Night fundraiser to benefit the Carson Middle School Band, laughs at the Carson Nugget and much more.

Enjoy an eclectic mix of acoustic music that includes favorite folk tunes and songs like Celtic, Appalacian, Cowboy and Popular songs including some done by the Beach Boys, James Taylor, Linda Ronstadt, Johnnie Cash and more. Grandma Hattie's is a full service restaurant, so you can make this your dinner show and sing or dance along, too. This event is family and kid friendly, so bring the whole family. Folk music night has been a regular monthly event in in Carson City since 2003.
