Silver Stage Pantry Holiday Schedule
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Wed, 12/14/2016 - 11:13amSilver Springs, Nevada - There will be special holiday events and hours for Healthy Communities Coalition's Silver Stage Food Pantry, located at 3595 Ramsey Weeks Cutoff in Silver Springs. Normally, the Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 10am until 4pm. However, the Pantry will close at noon on Friday December 16th, and at noon on Monday, December 19th. The Pantry will also be closed on Tuesday, December 27th from noon to 2:30pm for a delivery.

Artisan Show and Sale Features Local Artists

Sixteen pieces of original art will also be given away.
According to Judy Carlson, one of the show coordinators, the juried show features returning artists and new artists displaying a variety of techniques and media.

The Carson City Downtown Business Association says that even though it's chilly outside, you can keep warm by bundling up, putting on a pair of skates or walking along the streets of downtown, where you can shop for holiday gifts (there's several gift shops and shopping opportunities throughout downtown) and sip some fine wine at any number of stops.
