In the U.S., a woman’s chance of being diagnosed with invasive breast cancer is 1 in 8.
These odds, and the women and men it affects, is why BHGE has hosted Bunko for Breast Cancer since 2004 donating over $300,000 in support of the Carson Tahoe Cancer Resource Center.

Metastatic beast cancer is an incurable disease. It is when breast cancer has spread beyond the breast, possibly to the lymph nodes or other organs in the body. Around 40,000 people a year in the US die from it. It is the advanced part of breast cancer and it is rarely discussed.

Summit Cleaning Services Joins with Food For Thought to Combat Local Childhood Hunger

“Every year, we try to give back to the community in a real way,” said Stephen Jaenchen, owner of Summit Cleaning Services. In past years, Summit has helped support the NV Children’s Museum, the Carson Tahoe Cancer Resource Center, and the Ron Wood Family Resource Center.
Carson Valley's GE Bentley raises more than $215,000 for local breast cancer patients

Over the last 12 years, they have donated over $215,000 in funds raised in support of the Carson Tahoe Cancer Center, an affiliate of Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah, during their annual GE Bunko for Breast Cancer event held at the Carson Valley Inn.
