The Carson City Republican Committee is presenting all the Republican Candidates at our next General Meeting on Thursday, September 24th. Registration at 6:30pm and meeting starts at 7PM. Listen to their positions and make an informed decision when it comes time to voting.

How did it go? What happened with the mail-in ballot process this Primary Election? How did the same-day voter registration go at the polling station? What are we going to do during the General Election? So many questions that Aubrey Rowlatt, Carson City Clerk-Recorder, will address these and answer your questions at our June meeting.

The Carson City Republican committee held a Candidate Forum last week and recorded the virtual sessions with each of the candidates. The primary ballots are out and please watch / listen to each candidate that will allow you to make an informed choice.

The Carson City Republican Committee is conducting the 2020 Carson City Republican Convention virtually this year due to the COVID-19 challenges we face.

Join fellow Carson City Republicans at our virtual zoom meeting on Saturday, April 11, 2020 9 a.m. The first 100 attendees will be admitted to the virtual meeting so we recommend you join early to insure a spot at the meeting and minimize the technical challenges that can be faced connecting to a virtual meeting with computer or phone.

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities over the next three days. Restaurants in Carson City will host Valentine’s Day specials on Friday. The Carson City Celtic Music series will be at the Brewery Arts Center on Saturday featuring Fortunate Strangers. Combined with live music and comedy at the Carson Nugget, the Carson City region is in store for a busy three days. Read on for more information.

This year's Lincoln Day Dinner is going to reflect the energy and excitement of the 2020 presidential campaign and the Carson City Republican Committee has planned a special evening for all.

United States Representative Mark Amodei will be our Master of Ceremonies; we will also be hearing from Adam Laxalt and Nevada Republican Party Chair Michael McDonald. You will have an opportunity to meet some of our Republican politicians from Nevada like Senator James Settlemeyer, Nevada's Minority Leader, and Nevada Assemblyman Al Kramer.

Heading into Thursday, activities lined up include a cardio and strength connection class offered through Carson Tahoe Health and Wellness, a Polka Dot Powerhouse Women's Group luncheon at Red's Old 395 Grill, art showings, live music with Dale Poune at Gather, a meeting of the Carson City GOP at Casino Fandango featuring speaker Bob Potts from the Governor's Office of Economic Development, and more.

Partly sunny skies and cool temperatures are expected Thursday with a warmup in time for the weekend. Events ahead around the capital city include a meeting of the Board of Supervisors, a discussion on holiday stress and dementia offered by Carson Tahoe Expressions Memory Care, and an afternoon hike hosted by Muscle Powered. Also ahead, Carson City's GOP will host a discussion with several political leaders representing the capital city. There will be a 'Glorious Expanse' artist reception at WNC Gallery, plus library activities and more.

State Assemblyman Al Kramer, Sheriff Ken Furlong and Justice of the Peace Kristin Luis will meet with the Carson City Republicans at the next general meeting on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. Our political leaders will discuss their involvement with politics and how they are working with the community they serve. Our panel discussion will cover topics from them running for office, insights about their campaigns and how they are making an impact for our community.
