This touching collection of over 25 pieces, created by patients, survivors, caregivers and loved ones, represents an inspiring journey of hope through paintings, mixed-media, music, photography, and quilt-work.

Project Pink will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at the Carson Tahoe Cancer Center, located at 1535 Medical Parkway in North Carson City from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided. With Mother’s Day coming up on May 10, Carson Tahoe Health is encouraging women with a family history of breast cancer to be proactive about their breast health by attending their annual event, Project Pink. A woman’s risk of breast cancer doubles if she has a close relative (mother, sister, or daughter) who has been diagnosed with the disease.
Cancer Program Achieves First Gold Level Rating in Nevada

The surveyors awarded seven extra commendations for exceeding industry standards, making CTCC the first cancer center in Nevada to achieve a “gold level” designation.
Carson Tahoe upgrades patient care at the Regional Medical Center

These developments include televisions in surgical waiting areas, an Emergency Department IT system complete with patient monitors, and emergency cots to prepare for crisis situations. These developments were made possible with help from the CTRH Auxiliary and Carson City Health and Human Services.
