Nevada November gaming revenue up nearly 7.8 percent, down some in Carson City
Nevada casinos brought in a total “gaming win” of $944,265,845 in November, compared to $876,244,082 in November 2014.
Casinos at Stateline, Lake Tahoe saw a 17.26 percent increase in November gaming revenue, bringing in $14,192,970. Downtown Las Vegas saw the biggest increase, 25.24 percent, for the month.
Meanwhile, Carson City area casinos, which include those in Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except Lake Tahoe, saw gaming revenue decline 2.58 percent, with $7,751,133. Carson City area casinos saw a 8.58 percent increase in October gaming revenue. Nevada Day festivities in the capital city likely translated to the increase.
