Quad County, Carson City COVID-19 Tuesday briefing: 2 deaths, 139 new cases, 40 recoveries
Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 that there are two additional deaths due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. CCHHS is also reporting 139 new cases and 40 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 8,991, with 4,352 recoveries and 108 deaths; 4,531 cases remain active.

Due to a growing number of daily cases, CCHHS will no longer be providing specific details about each individual case. As of Oct. 26, CCHHS will only report on the number of new cases, recoveries, and deaths for each county.

Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing for Quad-County Residents
Testing is for Quad-County — Carson City, Douglas, Lyon, and Storey County — residents only. All others will be turned away. Events may be canceled 48 hours in advance if inclement weather is expected. Testing is free of charge. Events are first come, first served, no appointments or reservations.
