Carson City Juvenile Services Probation Committee has two new members
The Carson City Juvenile Services Probation Committee has two new members. Sheriff's Office Sgt. Daniel Gonzales and former Chief of Juvenile Services Ben Bianchi are the newest members of the Carson City Juvenile Services Probation Committee.
Gonzales and Bianchi were sworn in by Judge James Wilson on Dec. 6. Bianchi will serve a one year term and Gonzales will serve a two year term.
Both Gonzales and Bianchi with be joining other members of the probation committee, who have served more than 20 years. Their duties as committee members include: giving advice on any matter concerning the control and management of Juvenile Services in conjunction with the Juvenile Court and Chief of Probation, and assist in establishing policies, procedures and standards for the proper performance of probation officers.
Bianchi is the former Chief of Juvenile Services and Daniel Gonzales a sergeant at the Carson City Sheriffs Office. Both members will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the committee.
