Carson City’s Molly Walt appointed to Nevada Commission on Aging thanks to RSVP work
For many years, Molly Walt has been an integral individual in the capital city, serving on multiple boards, volunteering her time, and most importantly, by serving as the C.E.O. of Nevada Rural Counties Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
RSVP is a leading non-profit headquartered in Carson City which provides essential services and programs to seniors and veterans who are often homebound or isolated in rural communities.
Due to her ongoing work with RSVP, Walt has been appointed by Gov. Joe Lombardo to the Nevada Commission on Aging and Nevada Volunteers.
“I am honored to be appointed to the Nevada Commission on Aging and Nevada Volunteers,” Walt said. “I am passionate about volunteerism and helping seniors and veterans live their best lives, and I look forward to working with the (commission) to make a positive impact on Nevada’s communities.”
