Carson City emergency crews called to crashes at Highway 50 and College Parkway, and at Brown

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called to two crashes Monday afternoon in the area of Highway 50 and College Parkway and at Highway 50 and Brown Street.
The first crash was reported at around 3:30 p.m. and was blocking both lanes of traffic. It involved a white Jeep and a white sedan in which air bags were deployed. At least two people were treated on scene for non-life threatening injuries.
The second crash was reported at 3:43 p.m. near the first crash at Highway 50 and Brown Street. No injuries were reported in the second crash but it too was blocking traffic.
Traffic is being diverted around both crashes. Motorists can expect delays.
