Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Friday night to an airplane crash at the Carson City Airport.

The Carson City Board of Supervisors on Thursday decided to extend a ban on the sale of recreational marijuana until an ordinance addressing the new business is drafted.

A grand opening celebration for the new Shoe Tree Brewing Company, located next door to Carson Hot Springs Resort, has been scheduled for June 17 from noon to 10 p.m. at 1496 Old Hot Springs Road in Carson City.
