Construction of new casino underway at former Grandma Hattie’s site in Carson City

The old Grandma Hattie’s building, located at 2811 S. Carson St., is currently under construction to become a new Lucky Strike Casino, the second in Carson City.

The first Lucky Strike Casino is located at 444 E. William St.

Grandma Hatties closed in 2017 and since then the building located in South Carson has been left vacant.

The new Lucky Strike Casino will be 9,500 square feet in size, and is currently being built by Shaheen Beauchamp Builders.

The new casino is owned by Northern Nevada Comstock Investments, which owns multiple gaming establishments throughout the state including the Carson casinos of Comstock Casino, Cactus Jacks and Jackpot Crossing, as well as the Fernley Nugget, the Fallon Nugget, and the COD Casino in Minden.

Lucky Strike plans on running a restaurant, gaming floor, and bar and lounge sports betting, among other entertainments.
