Carson City emergency crews respond to crash at South Carson Street and Old Clear Creek

Carson City Fire Department, sheriff's deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol responded early Wednesday evening to a vehicle crash in the northbound lane of South Carson Street at Old Clear Creek Road.

The crash, reported shortly before 5:30 p.m., involves three vehicles and is blocking traffic. Paramedics evaluated three people on scene, all declining medical attention via ambulance.

The northbound lane of South Carson Street is blocked. Motorists can expect delays.

Xavier is believed to be in the Carson City area and may be riding a red bicycle. Xavier does not have any medical problems and is not considered at risk.

Xavier is a white male juvenile. He is 17-years-old. He is approximately 5’6” and is 110 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. No clothing description.

Two Carson City motel rooms were officially condemned following a drug bust and arrest.

On 03/04/2021, at about 0830 hours, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Team (SET) in collaboration with the Tri Count Gang Unit and the Nevada Department of Public Safety Investigations Division (NDI) executed a search warrant for two rooms at the Frontier Motel located at 1718 N Carson St in Carson City.

We are reporting an additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad-County Region.

The individual was a female Carson City resident in her 60’s.
