Nevada Health Centers’ Mammovan to offer screenings this week in Carson City, Gardnerville
Early detection is key in the fight against breast cancer, so access to screenings is critically important. Nevada Health Centers’ Mammovan will offer mammography screenings in Carson City and Gardnerville this week.
Mammography screenings are primarily for women age 40 and older; however, screenings will be provided to those younger than 40 that have a screening referral from a provider. Pre-screening for any COVID-19 related symptoms will occur inside the clinic prior to entering the Mammovan.
Screening days are as follows:
— Monday, March 8, 7:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., Sierra Nevada Health Center 3325 Research Way, Carson City
— Tuesday, March 9, 7:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., FISH Friends in Service Helping 138 E. Long St., Carson City
— Wednesday, March 10, 7:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., Douglas County Senior Center, 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville
— Thursday, March 11, 7:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., Sierra Nevada Health Center 3325 Research Way, Carson City
