Carson City man in jail for alleged attempted murder in north Douglas County stabbing incident
UPDATE: At 10:45 a.m. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 800 block of Mica Dr. in the Indian Hills neighborhood, for a report of a stabbing. When deputies arrived, they found a male victim with multiple stab wounds to his torso.
DCSO deputies also found and identified Efrain Gonzales-Magana, 29, of Carson City, as the suspect in the stabbing. Based on the results of the investigation Gonzales-Magana was arrested and booked into the Douglas County Jail for suspicion of attempted murder and battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm. His bail is $125,006.
The victim, who has not been identified by law enforcement, was transported via Care Flight to Renown Medical center for treatment.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded at around 11 a.m. Monday to a stabbing in the 800 block of Mica Drive south of Carson City.
The suspect is currently in custody, and there is no further threat to the public, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office in a news release. The incident is currently under investigation and no other details were available.
