Nevada basketball signs former Akron guard Eric Parrish
A versatile 6-foot-6 basketball player will move from Bossier City, Louisiana, to the Biggest Little City to join the Nevada Wolf Pack next season.
The signing of Bossier Parish Community College’s Eric Parrish continues Nevada coach Eric Musselman’s penchant to fill his roster with players with experience at other schools. In freshman season, Parrish was a starting guard for Division 1 Akron of the Mid-American Conference. He is just beginning his sophomore year at the junior college in Louisiana.
“We are extremely excited to add Eric Parrish to our program,” Mussleman said in press statement. “At 6-6 and the ability to play and guard multiple positions, he fits perfect with our style of play of position-less basketball. He has an extremely athletic first step and is explosive off the bounce with the basketball. We feel he is the type of player that can fill up the stat sheet in multiple areas and affect the game in a variety of ways. He will be a player that Wolf Pack fans love to watch with his energy.”
