Nevada Assembly Republicans Re-elect Dr. Robin Titus as Assembly Republican Caucus Leader
Members of the Nevada Assembly Republican Caucus unanimously re-elected Dr. Robin Titus to be Caucus Leader for the 81st Legislative Session.
Assembly Republican Leader Dr. Robin Titus had the following to say regarding her appointment:
I am honored to have the continued support of my colleagues. After last legislative session, and the more recent special sessions, it was clear that we needed more Republicans in Carson City if we were going to have a balanced approach to address Nevada’s critical issues.
Our focus during the interim was on holding and picking up key Assembly districts to get out of the super minority. With the help of Republicans from across the state, and supportive organizations and stakeholders, we are happy with our accomplishments and have laid a solid framework to continue our success.
The upcoming legislative session will be challenging in many ways, and there continues to be uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. From large budget shortfalls, protecting the recovery for businesses and struggling Nevada families, tackling education, healthcare issues, and navigating a redistricting process, Assembly Republicans are committed to finding commonsense, balanced solutions.
