Driver flees scene of crash involving pickup and motorcycle at Deer Run and Highway 50
UPDATE FRIDAY 236PM: The motorcycle rider in Thursday's crash sustained non-life threatening injuries, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. The matter remains under investigation.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Thursday afternoon to a crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup in the area of Highway 50 East and Deer Run Road. The driver of the pickup took off running southbound on Deer Run Road.
The crash was reported at around 1:20 p.m. According to first responders on scene the male motorcycle rider suffered a possible broken leg. A Care Flight air ambulance was ordered due to the traumatic nature of the injury.
The suspect who ran from the scene was reportedly wearing a multi-colored or tie-dye shirt.
The owner of the pickup has told investigators that the vehicle was stolen.
At least one lane of traffic is blocked. Carson City sheriff's deputies are re-directing traffic around the crash. Motorists can expect delays. The Nevada Highway Patrol is also investigating.
