Carson City arrests: Inmate booked after calling victim of alleged domestic battery 12 times
A 26-year-old Carson City jail inmate was booked for violation of a court order after allegedly calling the victim of a domestic battery 12 times, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, a jail deputy learned the man, who was in jail for the domestic battery charge, was talking to the female victim of the alleged battery on the jail telephone.
The suspect had contacted the woman 12 times since he had been in custody. Court conditions were verified that he was not to have contact with the victim. Bail for the misdemeanor charge: $1,137.

— An 18-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, the woman admitted to slapping her ex-boyfriend across the face during a verbal argument. She was arrested at 8:01 p.m. at a Maple Creek Drive residence. Bail: $3,137.
— A 36-year-old Reno woman was booked into jail Tuesday, 2:30 p.m. for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued Feb. 17 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $350.
— A 24-year-old Gardnerville man was booked into jail Tuesday, 11:35 a.m. for a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant issued Sept. 25, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 40-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was booked into jail Tuesday, 11:35 p.m. for a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant issued Nov. 12, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
