Carson City arrests: Inmate booked on felony fraud and burglary warrants
A 46-year-old Carson City woman, who has been in custody at the Carson City Jail since August 9, was booked Monday for three felony warrants alleging two counts burglary and fraudulent use of a credit card, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
JD Powers was also booked on a gross misdemeanor warrant alleging attempted fraudulent use of a credit card. Bail: $80,000 bondable.
In other arrests:
— A 34-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Monday on two felony warrants alleging obtaining money by false pretenses and uttering a forged instrument, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Booked on the warrants that were issued Oct. 24, 2017 was Richard Ruiz III. The bondable bail amount for the charges was $40,000.
— A 54-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday, 4:26 p.m. in the 4100 block of South Carson Street for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Bail: $410.
— A 40-year-old Reno woman was booked into jail Monday, 1:30 p.m. for a misdemeanor failure to appear in court for a traffic citation warrant. Bail: $1,085.
