Man arrested on warrant charges after allegedly harassing Carson City Library patrons
A 21-year-old man was arrested Oct. 29, 2:15 p.m. in the 900 block of North Roop Street in Carson City. He faces misdemeanor charges of being in violation of a suspended sentence and contempt of court.
According to the arrest report, officers were dispatched to the Carson City Library where the suspect and another man were allegedly harassing patrons and trespassing.
Officers ran ID checks on both men where it was learned the suspect, who has no fixed address, had misdemeanor warrants for his arrest out of Carson City Justice Court for failure to appear and failure to provide the court with a current listed address. Bail: $6,000.
— An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Oct. 29, 7:15 p.m. in the 3000 block of Oak Ridge Drive. He faces misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia charges.
According to the arrest report, officers patrolling the area saw a car parked with four inside. Officers made contact with the occupants, spoke with them and with a flashlight observed a small glass jar with marijuana tipped upside down.
Officers also located a backpack in the rear seat that the man placed into custody said was his. Inside there was more marijuana and some pipes found, the arrest report states. More pipes were also found in the vehicle. Bail: $1,874.

The 38-year-old man was arrested in the 4900 block of August Drive at 10:30 p.m. Officers arrived and informed the man of the warrant. He told them that he was unaware that he had any charges pending against him. The warrant was issued Oct. 29, 2013 out of Carson City Municipal Court. Bail: $1,000.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
