Carson City sheriff’s arrest log: Two jailed in separate restraining order violations
A 35-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Monday on misdemeanor suspicion of two counts violation of a temporary protection order and being an ex-felon failing to register, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Woodside Drive in reference to a restraining order violation.
While responding, dispatch advised the suspect had left in a gray Chevy Impala, possibly going back to his address in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. Dispatch advised he had been served the restraining order Sept. 5, ordering him to stay away from a residence in the 1000 block of Hot Springs Road until an Oct. 5 court hearing.
Deputies arrived and made contact with one of the protected individuals. She stated that at around 4 a.m. she was awakened by the man who allegedly threw rocks at her window and wanted to speak with her. She told him to go away. She said he returned later Monday morning at 8:25 a.m. and opened the front door and went inside the residence. She told the man she was calling the police. The suspect left, according to the arrest report.
Deputies found the man at his residence in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. It was determined he had lived at the residence for approximately 30 days. Dispatch advised he was a convicted felon and was last registered at a residence on the 1000 block of Woodside Drive. He was taken into custody and booked on the charges. Bail: $2,506.
In other arrests: A 33-year old transient was arrested Monday, 3:25 p.m. in the area of Tiger Drive on a misdemeanor charge of violation of a temporary protection order. Bail: $1,137.
— A 26-year-old Carson City woman turned herself into jail deputies Monday, 8:27 p.m. on two misdemeanor contempt of court warrants issued Sept. 16-17, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $4,000.
— A 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 7:32 a.m. in the 800 block of Sundance Court on a misdemeanor warrant charge out of Reno Justice Court alleging that he passed a check without sufficient funds. Bail: $500.
