Parole and probation fugitive turns himself into Carson City jail authorities
A 24-year-old man sought by Nevada Parole and Probation turned himself into Carson City jail authorities on Tuesday, according to the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
The Nevada Parole and Probation Division of the Nevada Department of Public Safety had asked for the public’s assistance for information regarding the location of fugitive Javier Ruben Martinez who was known to frequent Carson City.
He was wanted for felony probation violation, eluding a police officer, a felony, discharging a weapon where person might be endangered, a gross misdemeanor, according to the Department of Public Safety.
A second person, Javier Rodriguez, 25, who was wanted by Nevada Parole and Probation for felony probation violation and for battery on a protected person, was arrested by Nevada Parole and Probation in Reno after receiving a tip.
