Carson City Sheriff's Office arrest reports for Tuesday
An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Tuesday morning at the intersection of Russell and William streets. He faces misdemeanor charges of possessing drug paraphernalia, minor consuming and contempt of court.
He was arrested at 4:17 a.m. by Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies after attempting to enter a casino and being on Alternative Sentencing with a condition to obey all laws. He submitted to a breath alcohol test which indicated at .163. He also had in his possession a marijuana pipe. Bail: $1,879.
— A 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 8:58 a.m. Monday in 200 block of Jeanell Drive. He faces misdemeanor charges of threats and popping the tires of a motor vehicle. Officers were dispatched to the residence regarding a man threatening people with a gun. On arrival officers and detained three.
The man facing charges was arrested after a fight over $30 where he allegedly reached his right hand into his waist band and acted like he was going to pull a gun, yelling "I'm going to kill you if you don't pay," a witness told Carson City sheriff deputies.
Another witness advised that he saw the subject earlier near a vehicle crouched down and heard a hissing noise. Officers inspected a white 1990 Lincoln with all four tires flat and small cut marks to the side walls. Bail: $979.
— A 36-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested Sept. 30, 12:16 p.m. in the 3200 block of Market Street. She faces a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny and a charge of failure to appear with a warrant.
According to the arrest report, the woman went into the men's section of Walmart and selected several items, concealing them in her purse and then left the store without paying. Bail: $902.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
