North Carson City Yogurt Beach to close, East William Street location remains open
The North Carson Street location of Yogurt Beach will close permanently this Wednesday, however the newest location on East William Street, will remain open.
The Yogurt Beach at 3228 North Carson Street opened five years ago. The new location at 1621 East William Street near the new Dutch Brothers, opened in February of this year.
"It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we are closing this (north Carson Street) location. Due to the effects that COVID-19 has had on our business, we are forced to close the doors," according to an announcement on its Yogurt Beach Facebook page. "Thank you for your love and support for the last five years. We do know that you have choices and we thank you for choosing Yogurt Beach and keeping it local."
The message notes the William Street location is only five minutes away from the North Carson Street location.
The William Street location is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. You can find Yogurt Beach on its webpage here and on Facebook here.
