Carson City deputies arrest man on three felony warrants following domestic dispute
A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1400 block of Rand Ave for three felony warrants including fugitive from justice and tampering or injuring a vehicle.
This arrest relates to another warrant arrest in this report.
Deputies responded to a domestic dispute (see other arrest report below) and learned that the male half, Korey Eugene Mills, had three felony warrants for his arrest.
The woman stated Mills had left on a bicycle prior to deputies arriving. While deputies were arresting the woman, they witnessed a male riding a white bike on Rand Ave.
Deputies made contact with the man who identified himself as Mills, who also told deputies the dispute between he and his girlfriend had never become physical.
Deputies arrested Mills on the three warrants. One was issued on Sept. 8 from Carson City Justice Court for tampering or injuring a vehicle, and the other two were extraditable warrants issued from California on Aug. 6 and Sept. 14 for fugitive from justice.
Deputies took custody of Mill’s bike, which was booked into evidence for safe keeping.
No bail.
— A 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1400 block of Rand Ave on a warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court for violation of a suspended sentence.
Deputies arrested the woman after responding to a domestic dispute between a man and woman, which the woman stated never got physical. The woman’s boyfriend, later identified as Mills, had left the scene prior to deputies arriving. Dispatch advised the woman had a warrant for her arrest and was taken into custody.
The warrant was issued on July 15, 2020.
Bail: $1,000 cash only
— A 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the area of Hot Springs and Roop for felony probation violation.
According to the report, Amy Lynn Garcia was arrested after deputies stopped a vehicle with no license plate. Garcia was the passenger in the vehicle, and is currently on probation with a no alcohol order.
Deputies located a Mike’s Hard Lemonade on the front passenger floorboards where Garcia was sitting, and in her purse they located eight empty single shot vodka bottles. A preliminary breath test gave a 0.145 percent BAC level.
Garcia was taken into custody without issue.
Bail: $3,000
