ComputerCorps 20th anniversary bash at Governor's Mansion
The Nevada Governor's Mansion at Mountain and Robinson streets was hopping with activity in the courtyard and adjacent Nevada Room as ComputerCorps of Carson City held its 20th Anniversary party Saturday evening.
The computer electronics refurbishing and recycling business celebrated two decades of keeping millions of pounds computer waste out of landfills, while re-supplying the community with rebuilt systems.
ComputerCorps has also helped to support thousands of community members with meals and meaningful volunteer work over the years.
Dozens of guests, including many current and former volunteers, attended Saturday's celebratory gala featuring live music, raffles and door prizes, as well as food and refreshments courtesy of the Black Bear Diner inside the Max Casino, Casino Fandango, and Carson City Barbecue.
