Dayton Valley Days returns this weekend with treasure hunt, live music, vendors, food and more
Come one, come all to Dayton Valley Days, a two-day outdoor street festival where people from Dayton Valley and the surrounding areas can come together to enjoy the historic downtown area. In its 33rd year, the festival will be held in Old Town Dayton on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17 and 18 beginning at 8:30 am.
Sierra School of Performing Arts presents 'Into the Woods' this weekend in Carson City
Sierra School of Performing Arts in association with Reno Little Theater will present "Into the Woods" this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 16-18, 2022 in the Maizie Theater at the Brewery Arts Center. This witty, profound, and moving musical explores what happens after “happily ever after."
Lectures on ‘Pirates,’ and ‘Apollo 13’ featured this weekend at WNC Observatory in Carson City
Mike Thomas presentations scheduled in August have been rescheduled for this weekend at Jack C. Davis Observatory on Western Nevada College's Carson City campus.

The Friends of Douglas County Library will host a fall book sale Sept. 16-18, 2022 at the CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda in Minden. The fall book sale will be held Friday, Sept. 16, 4 to 7 pm. For members of Friends of Douglas County Library only. The following day is the public sale, which is Saturday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again on Sunday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
4-H Showcase by UNR Cooperative Extension Sept 17 and 18 in Carson City, Virginia City
A “4-H Showcase” will be hosted by UNR Cooperative Extension for 4-H youth across the region on September 17 and 18, 2022. This is a free family event that will introduce you and your children to the life skills and values provided by our Nevada 4-H Program and to the types of clubs and projects that local staff are currently offering here in Carson City and Storey County.

Weekly open air vintage market hits downtown Carson City throughout the summer
