Carson City sheriff’s deputies make probation violation, warrant arrests
A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 11:39 p.m. in the area of Roop and Winnie streets for misdemeanor suspicion violation of Alternative Sentencing.
According to the arrest report, the man had been drinking alcohol, a violation of Department of Alternative Sentencing conditions. He provided a preliminary breath test of .150. Bail: $3,000.
In other arrests:
A 61-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday, 5:06 p.m. in the 900 block of North Roop Street for misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, a deputy was called to the library and made contact with the woman who informed him she had a court order condition to abstain from alcohol. The deputy could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her person.
Dispatch advised the Department of Alternative Sentencing wanted the woman arrested for violation of conditions. She provided a preliminary breath test of .254. Bail: $1,000.
— A 44-year-old transient was arrested Tuesday, 4 a.m. in the 2900 block of Highway 50 East for a misdemeanor warrant issued August 29, 2017 out of Dayton Justice Court. Bail: $177.
— A 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 11:13 p.m. in the area of Winnie and Roop streets for a misdemeanor failure to appear traffic warrant. Bail: $410.
— A 53-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Monday, 8:45 a.m. for two contempt of court warrants issued in July and September of this year out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail. $3,580.
