Carson City deputies make drug, DUI and warrant arrests
A 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Friday morning for felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
William Dale French was taken into custody at 12:04 a.m. in the area of Roop and Corbett streets. He consented to a search of his person, where deputies located a hypodermic needle with methamphetamine in the front of his waistband, several empty baggies and empty hypodermic needles. Bail: $3,500.
— A 29-year-old Carson City woman, Melinda Tucker, was arrested Friday, 12:29 a.m. for possession of methamphetamine and a misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $3,500.
— A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 3:54 p.m. for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant. Bail: $175.
— A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 7:30 p.m. for misdemeanor suspicion of minor consuming alcohol and two counts violation of bail conditions for drinking. The man had a BAC of .314. He was taken to the hospital for medical clearance and then to jail. Bail: $6,411.
— An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 10:32 a.m. in the 3600 block of Stanton Drive for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.
— A 29-year-old Carson City man, Ryan Riggs, was arrested Thursday, 10:55 a.m. in the 3100 block of Minonee Drive for a felony probation violation warrant.
— A 35-year-old Dayton man was arrested Thursday, 1:13 a.m. in the area of Highway 50 East and Deer Run Road for misdemeanor suspicion of DUI. According to the arrest report, the man was stopped for swerving drastically within its lane and crossing the lane line multiple times. The driver told the deputy that he drank three and a half beers. He agreed to field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment. He provided a preliminary breath test of .241. Bail: $1,137.
