Carson City area road report for week of Sept. 3-9
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Sept. 3-9: Work continues this week on the Downtown Curry Streetscape Project.
Q&D will be placing curb, gutter, and sidewalk from Musser to Telegraph on Curry Street and construction of the seatwalls at Curry and Proctor will take place.
Seatwalls will be constructed at Curry and Proctor, and Musser between Curry and N. Carson with intermittent lane closures. There will be installation of fire services on Curry from Proctor to Spear.
The intersection of Curry and Telegraph will be closed intermittently during the construction of the seatwalls. Installation of irrigation will occur on Proctor from N. Carson to Curry and on Curry from Musser to Spear.
Q&D will be installing electrical on Curry from Musser to Spear. Demolition of curb, gutter and sidewalk between Telegraph and Spear. There will be intermittent street closures during these activities, detours will be signed.
Parking will be limited in work areas.
Businesses are open and accessible throughout. Days of closures are subject to change due to weather conditions.

Road closures expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— Silver Sage Drive will be closed between Clearview Drive and Roland Street, Tuesday through Sunday, all hours. Access will be open to residents.
— Marian Avenue will be closed between Beverly Drive and Long Street, Tuesday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
— Snyder Avenue will be closed between Bigelow Drive and Center Drive, Tuesday through Sunday. All hours.
Lane restriction are expected at the following location due to road and utility work.
Ormsby Boulevard will be reduced to one lane between Dartmouth Drive and College Parkway, Tuesday and Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
