Carson City Fire Department called to structure fire on Baker Street
UPDATE 9:08AM: Firefighters have knocked down the small fire located in the back of a Baker Street residence, according to Carson City Fire Chief Sean Slamon.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Thursday morning to a structure fire in the 3300 block of Baker Street in south Carson City.
The call came into dispatch at around 8:45 a.m. of a structure fire in the area of Baker and Stafford, with Carson City Fire Department personnel responding.
According to initial reports, smoke was seen coming from a residence.
Traffic is being diverted from the areas of Baker and Hickory to allow for fire trucks to arrive. People are advised to stay clear of the area.
