Carson City firefighters called to structure fire at Baker Drive residence
UPDATE: The fire was declared extinguished as of 2:37 p.m., according to a Carson City Fire Department battalion chief. The cause is under investigation.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies responded Thursday afternoon to a structure fire in the 3100 block of Baker Drive.
At around 2:10 p.m. Carson City dispatch began receiving multiple 911 calls regarding a fire coming from inside a home at 3132 Baker Drive. First responders on scene report the fire coming from the roof, that it was putting up smoke and that neighbors were attempting to douse the fire using garden hoses prior to their arrival.
The severity of the fire is unclear at this time. Truckee Meadows Fire was also responding. Check back for updates.
