Young Eagles flying event happening Saturday at Carson City Airport
The Carson City EAA Chapter 403 will host another of its popular Young Eagles flying event at the Carson City Airport on Saturday, July 22.
The latest event is by invitation only and is only open to those that received an email invitation from EAA Chapter 403. It is free and is open to children ages 8-17 years of age.
On the day of the event, participants will get a pre-flight safety briefing and then get to fly in one of a variety of aircraft that are owned by our Chapter Young Eagle Pilots.
If your child or children have flown before through the Young Eagles Flying program, they are strongly encouraged to bring their log books.
There will not be any onsite registration at this event, just check-in only.
The event is on Saturday, July 22 and online registration opens Tuesday, July 18 at 7 a.m. It is limited to the first 72 participants ages 8 to 17 that register. These slots fill up quickly.
