Carson City sheriff's log: Deputies make DUI related arrests
A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday night in the area of Curry and Robinson streets for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy said.

After making a traffic stop, the sheriff's deputy contacted the suspect vehicle driver, who smelled of alcohol, displayed red, watery eyes and admitted to having consumed multiple beers earlier that evening, the report said.
The suspect also failed to provide proof of insurance or a valid registration. All documentation provided by the suspect were noted to be expired, the report said.
The suspect consented to field sobriety testing that showed signs of impairment, and a preliminary breath test (PBT), which indicated blood alcohol content of .163 percent, the report said. He was arrested at 11:12 p.m. Bail: $1,000.
